Road Works won‘t hold back boating and watersports enthusiasts this weekend

Visitors to the National Boat Show and Dive Expo, on at the Ticketpro Dome in Northriding this weekend won‘t be held back by road works on the N1 northbound to explore Africa‘s largest boat and leisure show.

The show arrives in Gauteng just in time for the family fun in the sun season. Thousands of boating and watersports enthusiasts are expected to flock to the event to see the latest boats and leisure toys expected on the water this summer, while others will try scuba diving and other watersports activities at the show.

The South African National Roads Agency Limited (Sanral) has announced road closures for the N1 North at the William Nicol interchange. There will be left hand lane closures but traffic will be diverted off the William Nicol exits and back on the highway at the off ramps.

If you are planning to visit the National Boat Show, please take note of the lane restrictions, or seek alternate routes.

The National Boat Show is open from 09h00 – 17h00 today and tomorrow.
